Job summary

Arvato is seeking a mid-level corporate attorney to join its Legal Department in Memphis, supporting procurement and commercial contracting. You will review, draft, and negotiate vendor agreements and MSAs, with input from procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to review, draft, and negotiate vendor and supplier agreements, while helping manage legal and business risk.

Qualifications

J.D. degree from an accredited law school and U.S. bar admission.
2–7 years of hands-on legal experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
Experience with procurement, vendor, supplier, tech, SaaS or other operational agreements.
Ability to analyze contract risk and propose practical revisions.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, software and technology licenses, and professional services.
Partner with procurement and business teams to support sourcing, manage risk, and ensure policy alignment.
Provide practical business-oriented legal advice on contract interpretation and terms with supervision as needed.
Develop, review, and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidelines for procurement and vendor management.
Conduct legal research on regulatory developments related to commercial contracting, data protection, transportation management, and vendor relationships.
