Arvato is seeking a mid-level corporate attorney to join its Legal Department in the United States, supporting procurement and commercial contracting activities. Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 2–7 years of hands‑on legal experience focused on procurement, vendor, supplier, technology, SaaS, or other operational agreements.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with ability to spot issues and advise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to explain legal and business implications.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, software licenses, etc.).
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and commercial terms.
• Develop, review, and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidelines for procurement and vendor management.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory developments relevant to commercial contracting, data protection, transportation management, and vendor relationships.
• Assist with employment, compliance, and policy matters in collaboration with HR and compliance teams.
