Job summary

Arvato is seeking a mid-level corporate attorney (2–7 years) to join its Legal Department in one of several U.S. locations.

The role focuses on procurement and commercial contracting, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor agreements while advising stakeholders on risk and compliance. The attorney will support IT/software licenses, MSAs, and consulting agreements, with collaboration across procurement, finance, and business teams.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to at least one US state bar.
• 2–7 years of hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience focused on procurement, vendor, supplier, technology, or other operational agreements.
• Ability to advise internal stakeholders and manage contract risk.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, software licenses, and professional services.
• Collaborate with procurement and business teams to support sourcing, manage contractual risk, and ensure policy alignment.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and commercial terms.
