Job summary

Arvato is seeking a mid-level corporate attorney (2–7 years) to join its Legal Department in Memphis (or Boston, New York, Louisville). The role focuses on procurement and commercial contracting, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor and supplier agreements while coordinating with procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to manage risk.

The attorney may also support related employment, compliance, and policy matters and assist with contract templates and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar; Massachusetts, New York, California, Tennessee or Kentucky preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and commercial agreements (vendor/supplier, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, licenses, services agreements).
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and commercial terms.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and guidelines for procurement and vendor management.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments relevant to contracts, data protection, and vendor relationships.
