Job summary

Arvato is seeking a mid-level corporate attorney (2–7 years) to join its Legal Department in New York, Boston, Memphis, or Louisville. The attorney will support procurement and commercial contracting, review, draft, and negotiate vendor and supplier agreements, and advise stakeholders on risk and terms.

You will collaborate with procurement, finance, and business teams to manage contracts, develop templates, and monitor regulatory developments affecting commercial contracting and data protection.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 2–7 years of hands-on legal experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, with focus on procurement, vendor, supplier, or technology agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, software licenses, and professional services contracts for procurement and business operations.
• Collaborate with procurement and business teams to manage risk and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide practical legal advice on contract interpretation and terms to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and guidelines for procurement and vendor management.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory developments related to commercial contracting, data protection, and vendor relationships.
• Assist with employment, compliance, and policy matters in coordination with HR and compliance.
