Job summary

Vasquez Law Firm, PLLC in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead day-to-day operations, build scalable systems, and drive sustainable growth. You will oversee multiple departments, implement performance metrics, and mentor department heads while shaping the firm’s long-term vision.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in leadership roles, experience in a law firm preferred, and a track record of transforming operations with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Law firm experience is preferred.
• 5–8 years of leadership experience in operations or executive roles.
• Experience overseeing 100+ employees is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's day-to-day operations across multiple departments.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that support continued growth.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and accountability systems across the organization.
• Build, mentor, and develop department leaders to maximize performance.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements.
• Oversee cross-functional collaboration between Legal Operations, HR, Intake, Marketing, Finance, Client Relations, and Administration.
• Drive strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
• Improve client experience by optimizing internal workflows and operational excellence.
• Partner with the CEO to execute the firm's long-term vision and strategic objectives.
• Foster a culture centered around accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and servant leadership.
