Job summary

Peachtree Group Hospitality Management, overseeing Embassy Suites Gulf Shores, seeks a Convention Services Manager to coordinate event logistics, including room setups, catering menus, AV, and guest accommodations. You will partner with clients and hotel departments to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience, with 1+ years in convention services coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of Convention Services Coordinator or relevant experience required.
• Sales/Brand systems experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales and catering teams during initial booking process.
• Coordinate group room blocks, catering, AV, and function space.
• Log and maintain client communications and documentation.
• Attend weekly Revenue Management, Sales and Group Pickup Meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to ensure client satisfaction.
• Handle inquiries promptly and ensure timely function details confirmations.
• Upsell opportunities to clients and propose enhanced services.
• Conduct site inspections and client presentations.
• Coordinate menus, set-ups, and functions with the Executive Chef.
• Ensure flawless event execution with banquet operations.
• Provide direction and evaluation of operations and banquet orders.
