Job summary

Kewadin Casinos is seeking a Sales Manager to lead convention group efforts and maximize occupancy and average room rates. You will prospect, solicit, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with departments to ensure flawless event execution.

Responsibilities include travel to trade shows, tracking bookings, generating quarterly reports, and ensuring accurate billing. A background in hospitality sales and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience required, 3 years preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality or Sales preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check under NIGC rules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new business, responds to inquiries and creates proposals.
• Negotiates contracts, hotel rates, AV services, and other add-ons.
• Routes tasks from the meeting planner to the appropriate departments.
• Travels to trade shows to represent Kewadin and its offerings.
• Attends pre/post-convention meetings and manages billing readiness.
• Enters bookings into property management systems and tracks progress.
• Prepares and maintains quarterly sales reports.
