Job summary

Kewadin-Casino is seeking a Sales Manager to develop sales strategies targeting convention group business and maximize occupancy and average daily rate. The role requires prospecting, solicitation, and coordination with multiple hotel departments to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities include contracting, proposal creation, and attending pre/post-convention meetings. Travel to trade shows is expected to promote Kewadin-Casino and ensure client satisfaction across channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred in Business, Hospitality or Sales related fields.
• Minimum 1 year sales experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Criminal background investigation will be required.
• Must communicate clearly in person, writing, telephone and email; strong public relations and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new business, responds and creates proposals.
• Negotiates contracts, hotel rates, AV services, and additional services.
• Routes & delegates functions from the meeting planner to proper departments.
• Travels to trade shows representing Kewadin and its products.
