Job summary

Axon is seeking a strategic Chief of Staff to support the Controllership organization, including accounting, FP&A, M&A, and corporate audit. This hybrid role splits CoS duties with special projects and transformation initiatives across finance functions.

The ideal candidate brings finance or accounting expertise, strong cross-functional leadership, and a track record of implementing new processes in a fast-moving environment. You will interact with executive leadership and drive key initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years in finance, accounting, or operations with exposure to controllership functions.
• FP&A, consulting, M&A, or business partnership experience is desirable.
• Proven track record of building and implementing new processes with a hands-on approach.
• Versatile self-starter energized by ambiguity, fast-moving priorities, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills with cross-functional experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CAO, driving execution of department priorities and organizational goals.
• Prepare executive-level briefings, MBR/QBR materials, and presentations.
• Lead finance transformation, process automation, and system upgrades for rapid growth.
• Drive engagement, communication, and team-building across the Controllership organization.
