Job summary

Axon is seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff to support the Controllership organization in a hybrid role spanning core CoS responsibilities and controllership transformation initiatives. You will be a trusted advisor to Controllership leadership, ensuring priorities are aligned, and key financial initiatives move forward.

The role is based in the US with hybrid work options at Axon hubs (Boston, NYC, San Francisco).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations, with exposure to controllership.
• FP&A, M&A, or a business partnership role is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of building and implementing new processes with a hands-on approach.
• Ambiguity tolerance with cross-functional collaboration across teams.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills with cross-functional experience.
• Data mining with strong modeling skills to derive insights for decision-making.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CAO, driving execution of department priorities and organizational goals.
• Prepare executive-level briefings, MBR/QBR materials, and presentations.
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives including finance transformation, process automation, and system upgrades.
