Job summary

Axon Enterprise in the United States is looking for a strategic Chief of Staff to support the Controllership organization. This hybrid role focuses on CoS responsibilities and controllership transformation, reporting to the CAO and coordinating with FP&A, M&A, and accounting teams.

The ideal candidate brings a finance or accounting background, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations with controllership exposure.
• Experience in FP&A, consulting, M&A, or business partnerships is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of building and implementing new processes with a hands-on approach.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills with cross-functional experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to the CAO, driving execution of department priorities and organizational goals.
• Synthesize information, prepare executive-level briefings, MBR/QBR materials, and presentations.
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives including finance transformation and process automation.
• Own annual controllership operating expense budget and monitor KPIs.
• Prepare materials for COO/CFO and Audit Committee, ensuring timely follow-up.
