Odele, LLC. is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and financial operations as we scale.

The role owns monthly close, financial reporting, inventory accounting, COGS analysis, gross margin visibility, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting, while serving as NetSuite accounting lead. The ideal candidate brings strong controllership experience, NetSuite fluency, inventory/consumer products exposure, and the maturity to lead accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, financial operations, and controllership experience.
• NetSuite experience including accounting operations, reporting, saved searches, workflows and permissions.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, monthly close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience in consumer products, retail, beauty, or inventory-based business preferred.
• Advanced Excel; familiarity with BI tools, planning systems, EDI, or e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly and annual close process with timely, accurate financial results.
• Own financial reporting, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and GAAP-compliant statements.
• Prepare clear reporting packages and communicate insights to CFO and leadership.
• Identify efficiencies to reduce close time and improve reporting accuracy.
