Job summary

Grange Co-op is seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting operations across its locations, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. The role leads budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis while coordinating audits with external auditors.

The position requires 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, a CPA preferred, and experience with multi-location retail and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience supervising accounting staff and managing accounting operations.
• Experience with external auditors and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple locations.
• Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial statements and KPIs for management and Board.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting, and product costing across locations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analyses.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and ensure regulatory filings.
