Job summary

Best Best & Krieger LLP in the United States seeks a Controller to lead the firm’s accounting operations, oversee close processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting with strong internal controls across multiple offices.

You will partner with the CFO, manage accounting staff, and coordinate external audits to support GAAP compliance and scalable financial operations for a national law firm with ~250 attorneys.

Qualifications

• Must have strong GAAP knowledge and experience in financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams and projects.
• Experience coordinating external audits and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee financial reporting packages and GAAP compliance.
