Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Global Controller to lead the firm’s worldwide accounting operations, shaping policy and managing a dispersed team of accounting professionals. You will oversee payroll, treasury, payables, receivables and financial reporting while maintaining strict internal controls across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires CPA and a strong background in GAAP, multi-entity operations, and process improvement. Corporate collaboration with CFO and senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s in accounting and CPA or equivalent.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and multi-entity accounting experience.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the accounting function across 40+ offices.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows).
• Maintain accounting records and internal controls; monitor risk management.
