Job summary

Davies Molding LLC, based in Carol Stream, Illinois, seeks a seasoned financial leader to partner with the President and executive team. The role oversees the finance function, drives strategic planning, and leads closing cycles to ensure accuracy and compliance.

With 5–10 years in manufacturing finance, you will optimize cost accounting, manage cross-functional projects, and mentor a growing team while advancing process improvements and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills; extensive accounting and cost accounting foundation.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software; experience with Microsoft D365 a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; results- and profit-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Partner to the President and Executive Team in developing and executing business strategy.
• Oversee and organize the Davies finance team; manage monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Lead major expenditure analyses and financial planning across cross-functional teams.
• Drive process improvements, data analysis, and automation to improve cost savings.
• Coordinate audits and ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Mentor staff and drive performance through objective setting and development.
