Job summary

CFS in Illinois seeks a Corporate Controller to lead accounting, tax, payroll, controls and financial reporting while directing budgeting, forecasting and cash management. The role offers high visibility with executive leadership and a chance to shape financial strategy.

You will manage month‑end close, tax filings, audits, internal controls, cash flow management, and coordinating external audits; you will manage a manufacturing accounting team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing accounting, payroll, AP, AR, and related functions.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• SAP experience preferred but not required if all other qualifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, tax, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end close and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and deadlines.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis activities.
• Oversee federal, state, local, income, and sales/use tax filings and compliance.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits and 401(k) audits.
• Manage cash flow, internal controls, and risk mitigation.
