Job summary

Tampa Electric, a TECO Energy company, is seeking an experienced Manager of Contract & Purchasing to lead procurement, contract development, and supplier risk management. You will drive strategic sourcing for engineering, services, and major equipment, coordinating with legal, finance, and operations to achieve best value.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in a related field, 6+ years in procurement, and strong negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology or related field.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of experience or an Associate’s degree with 2 additional years of experience.
• 6 years of experience in procurement functions including contract formation/negotiation, due diligence, and P2P lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement objectives and procedures.
• Advise leadership on sourcing methodologies and due diligence processes.
• Develop contracts, NDAs, and related agreements for engineering and IT services.
