Job summary

Tampa Electric is seeking a Manager Contract & Purchasing to lead procurement for goods, services and major equipment, aligning with policy and ethics. You will guide a team (6+) and drive sourcing, contract development and vendor due diligence.

You will collaborate with legal, risk, finance and other functions to manage risk, ensure compliance (including NERC CIP-013), and implement P2P improvements across ERP and CLM systems, supporting a reliable energy future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain required.
• Experience leading procurement contracts, vendor due diligence and risk management.
• Familiar with ERP, CLM and P2P systems.
• Knowledge of NERC CIP-013 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage procurement objectives and procedures for operations.
• Lead sourcing, contracting, due diligence and compliance with vendors.
• Oversee contracts, NDAs, access agreements for engineering and IT.
• Drive digital transformation of procurement using ERP, CLM and P2P tools.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, finance, audit and safety teams.
• Stay current on market trends and professional best practices.
