Job summary

Capital One seeks a Manager, Contract Manager to join our Enterprise Supplier Management team in Plano, TX. You will collaborate with business units, legal and data security to draft and negotiate third-party agreements that capture business intent, protect the company and unlock value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
At least 4 years of experience in drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing procurement contracts.
Juris Doctorate (preferred)
5+ years of experience drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing procurement contracts (preferred)

Responsibilities

Assessing transactions and creating deal strategies with business customers and stakeholders.
Drafting and/or redlining contracts to protect Capital One from risk using best practices.
Negotiating with suppliers to meet contracting standards and business objectives.
Managing multiple transactions independently to drive timely completion.
Communicating with internal stakeholders including legal, compliance and data security groups.
