Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Associate, Contract Manager to join our Enterprise Supplier Management team. You will draft and negotiate agreements that capture business intent while mitigating risk, collaborating with legal, data security and business stakeholders across the enterprise.

You will coordinate negotiations, manage contracts from drafting to execution, and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced procurement environment. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• Juris Doctorate or 1 year experience in contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution.
• Juris Doctorate preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in Procurement, Legal or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and/or redlining contracts to ensure Capital One is protected from risk.
• Effectively negotiate with suppliers to produce contracts within Capital One standards and objectives.
• Manage transactions proactively and efficiently, driving to completion and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders including LOB, legal, compliance and data security to determine material risks.
• Collaborate with the larger ESM team and business units.
