Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Contract Manager to join the Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) team. The role focuses on updating contracting templates, managing the template library, and ensuring compliance with rigorous standards across third-party engagements.

You will partner with internal stakeholders and legal, drive change management, and lead contract governance while maintaining Capital One’s risk profile in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• At least 6 years of legal or professional experience in drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing procurement contracts.
• Juris Doctorate preferred.
• 7+ years of experience drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing procurement contracts.
• 3+ years of process management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage updates to contracting processes and controls.
• Lead management of systems housing contracting templates and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Update and evolve contracting templates, playbook, and training materials to maintain risk profile.
• Design and implement change management to communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the broader ESM team and business stakeholders.
