Job summary

Loudoun County Government's Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services is seeking a Contract Manager in the Finance Program to oversee contracts, ensure compliance, and foster strong vendor relationships.

The role emphasizes procurement, reporting, audits, and collaboration with county departments to support person-centered services; requires a BA in business and 3 years' related experience or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with procurement coursework.
• Three years of related work experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts by tracking deliverables and reports, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with the contract terms.
• Ensure all contracts are compliant with relevant regulations and County and Department contracting procedures and guidelines; maintains contract documentation and document compliance.
• Conduct audits of vendors and respond to audit requests from Managed Care Organizations.
• Collaborate with vendors to assess performance and address underperformance to ensure contract terms are fulfilled.
• Facilitate meetings with vendors, internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage contracts and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Coordinate the procurement process, managing service contracts to ensure they meet organizational standards.
• Create and maintain relationships with vendors, internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between MHSADS, County departments, and external organizations, foster clear communication and collaboration.
• Conduct research and prepare detailed reports for decision-making and compliance purposes.
• Collaborates and partners with team members to oversee shared tasks.
• Take on department identified special projects.
