Job summary

Loudoun County Government seeks a Program Manager within the Behavioral Health Outpatient Services Program to provide clinical and administrative leadership for outpatient therapy addressing serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders. The role oversees staff, ensures evidence-based practice adoption, and coordinates with County courts and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a behavioral health field (social work, counseling, psychology, human services, public administration or closely related field).
• Current independent clinical licensure in Virginia as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCP.
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience providing behavioral health services, including work with individuals with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, administrative, and operational leadership to the Eastern Loudoun Behavioral Health Outpatient Program.
• Supervise clinical staff, provide clinical consultation, and promote professional development and evidence-based practices.
• Oversee four County Court Dockets and ensure compliance with Virginia Code, DBHDS standards, and County policies related to continuity of care.
• Develop collaborative relationships with internal programs and community partners; monitor performance, quality improvement, and program outcomes.
• Attend treatment team and staff meetings; conduct staff evaluations; perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Administration, or a closely related behavioral health field.
