Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Consultant (Contract Administrator) in Sales Operations to support OptiFreight contracts and contracting activities. You will partner with Legal, Sales, Finance and cross-functional teams to review strategy, ensure compliance, and maintain processes.

The role covers drafting, reviewing, redlining, approvals, and implementing fully executed contracts while supporting dashboards and templates. Must have strong contract skills and healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience in contracts analysis, legal or paralegal roles.
• Strong negotiation, contract drafting, communication, attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills; capable of independent work with accountability.
• Experience with contracting processes and CLM systems; healthcare/pharma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer customer contract terms and activations.
• Draft contracts in Apttus using OptiFreight templates.
• Review contracts for standard terms compliance and risk.
• Collect inputs from cross-functional teams and document requirements.
• Redline documents to align with OptiFreight language and playbook terms.
• Coordinate reviews and approvals for contract redlines; escalate issues.
• Initiate implementation activities for executed contracts and communicate pricing needs.
• Assist sales with custom contract language and support customer discussions.
• Develop and maintain contract dashboards, templates, and SOPs.
• Track contracting trends, bottlenecks, redlines and turnaround times.
• Train internal stakeholders on contracting processes and systems.
• Create and maintain training materials and process documentation.
