Job summary

Cardinal Health in the United States seeks a Consultant (Contract Administrator) in Sales Operations to manage OptiFreight contracts, coordinating with Legal, Sales, Finance and cross-functional teams. You will be the primary point of contact for standard contracts and respond to routine contracting questions.

Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, you will draft contracts, review terms, maintain templates and playbooks, support dashboards, and help train stakeholders to improve contracting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred; advanced degree preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of related experience in contracts analysis or legal/paralegal roles.
• Strong negotiation, contract drafting, communication, detail orientation, and time management.
• Able to learn quickly with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with CLM systems and contract lifecycle processes.
• Experience in healthcare/pharma or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer customer contract terms and activations.
• Draft contracts in Apttus using OptiFreight templates.
• Review contracts for standard terms and compliance.
• Collect inputs from Sales, Product Marketing, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Prepare contract redlines and assess non-standard terms.
• Support dashboards and reporting on contracts for stakeholders.
• Assist with training and onboarding on contracting processes.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks.
