Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Consultant (Contract Administrator) in the Sales Operations team to support OptiFreight contracts. You will draft and review contracts, coordinate approvals, and ensure compliance with standard terms while collaborating with Legal, Sales, and Finance.

The role involves creating contract templates, handling redlines, and assisting with data-driven process improvements. Strong communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Advanced Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience in roles such as Contracts Analyst or Legal/Paralegal, preferred.
• Strong negotiation, contract drafting, communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Must be a quick learner and possess excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Must be able to perform with a degree of independence and accountability.
• Strong analytical and organization skills.
• Experience in contracting processes and CLM systems knowledge.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the terms and activations of customer contracts and related contracting activities.
• Primary point of contact for standard OptiFreight contracts and routine questions.
• Draft contracts in Apttus using OptiFreight templates and review adherence to terms.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and approvals for redlines; escalate unresolved issues.
• Develop and maintain contract dashboards, templates, and playbooks.
• Support training and onboarding of internal stakeholders on contracting processes.
