Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Business Risk & Control Manager for Consumer Deposits and Payments in Schaumburg, IL. You will lead risk and control frameworks, advise on control design, and drive testing and monitoring programs across consumer banking products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years' experience in financial services with audit, risk management or compliance background.
• CRCM certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Smartsheet and PowerBi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing controls frameworks across consumer payments and deposits; identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Guide on control design to mitigate risk efficiently.
• Develop or enhance control testing standards and monitoring programs with business lines.
• Produce reporting on testing results and risk/compliance projects for management.
• Support change management for new regulations, products, or services; help implement monitoring programs.
• Serve as liaison between second line and business to translate regulatory impact.
• Support remediation tracking and post-remediation monitoring for risk issues.
• Assist enterprise risk management programs within business lines (risk assessments, root cause analysis, resiliency).
• Interpret new legal/regulatory requirements and oversee their implementation where appropriate.
