Busey Bank seeks a Consumer Business Risk & Compliance Manager to lead risk and control frameworks for Consumer Payments and Deposits. You will act as a subject matter expert, guiding controls, testing, and reporting to minimize financial and regulatory risk across traditional and digital banking products.

In this senior role you will partner with lines of business and second-line teams, manage a team, and drive enterprise risk programs, ensuring regulatory obligations are met and control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field and 8–10 years in financial services with audit, risk, or compliance background.
• Current CRCM certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Smartsheet and Power BI preferred.
• Knowledge of consumer regulations and trends relevant to banking.

Responsibilities

• Assess and enhance consumer risk controls across payments and deposits front and back office.
• Provide guidance to ensure control design objectives mitigate risk efficiently.
• Develop testing standards and monitoring programs for control effectiveness.
• Report testing results and risk projects to management.
• Support regulatory changes and new product initiatives with updated controls.
• Coordinate with second line and business to implement regulatory changes.
• Track issues, root causes, and remediation monitoring.
• Support enterprise risk management activities within business lines.
• Interpret new legal requirements and oversee implementation where appropriate.
