Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills; can adapt communication and presentation style to fit various audiences.
• In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of consumer regulations and trends including small business protection regulations.
• Design and documentation of procedures and controls that promote consistent and repeatable processes.
• Products and services offered in both traditional banking and digital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing controls frameworks across consumer payments and deposits and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Guide on control improvements to ensure design objectives mitigate risk efficiently.
• Develop or enhance control testing standards and monitoring programs with business line staff.
• Create and maintain reporting of testing results and risk/compliance projects for leadership visibility.
• Support change management related to new legislation/regulations or new/modified products/services.
• Act as liaison between second line of defense and business to translate regulatory impact into operations.
• Support remediation of risk issues and post-remediation monitoring.
• Participate in enterprise risk management programs to meet regulatory obligations.
