Job summary

Fessler & Bowman Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Smyrna, TN to recruit for critical field positions and staff offices. You will build relationships with local sources, manage branding, and own sourcing from candidate qualification through onboarding.

The role emphasizes proactive recruiting, Spanish-language communications, and collaboration with HR leaders to support company growth and equity initiatives. Travel to sites and events is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of HR or recruiting experience required.
• 1+ years experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Regional HR Manager and HR Director on continuous process improvement and strategic projects within the human resources function.
• Building effective internal relationships with hiring managers.
• Forecasting needs of the business and communicating it to the HRBP/Regional HR Manager for budget approval and validation.
• Targeting competitors to source and attract passive qualified candidates.
• Update, monitor, and maintain the Applicant Tracking System by ensuring all data is up to date and candidates are dispositioned accordingly.
• Works collaboratively to manage social media presence and employer brand.
• Supports the Company’s commitment to EEO and Affirmative Action strategy and compliance.
• Develop written communications in Spanish, including job ads, new hire paperwork, policies, etc.
