Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has supported large scale construction projects and will bring experience across data centers, critical infrastructure, aviation, life sciences, and energy & natural resources.

The role involves identifying risk triggers, informing investment planning, monitoring risk budgets, and producing regular risk reports across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
• Relevant construction project procurement and contract management experience.
• Demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment.
• Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling and retirement of risk.
• Use risk data to inform investment planning and decision making.
• Monitor overall risk exposure and assess remaining risk budget.
• Collaborate with contractors to assess contractor-held risks impacting the client.
• Produce risk reports to communicate threat and opportunity status.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform contingency levels.
• Lead development and improvement of risk management services for the client.
• Oversee end-to-end project risk management across multiple projects/programs.
