Job summary

NexGen Contracting in Franklin, TN seeks a Resource Operations Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and optimize field labor resources, tools, equipment, and materials across projects. You will ensure the right people and assets are available, tracked, maintained, and deployed to support safe, on-time execution.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 5+ years in construction operations, and a strong grasp of labor coordination, asset management, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in construction operations, resource planning, logistics, tool/yard, or similar roles.
• Experience with inventory, asset tracking, or workforce planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and allocate field labor across active and upcoming projects.
• Monitor labor utilization and adjust assignments to support productivity and schedules.
• Coordinate onboarding, transfers, and demobilization of field personnel.
• Identify and resolve labor shortages, conflicts, or overages.
• Oversee issuance, return, and tracking of tools, equipment, and materials.
