Job summary

NexGen Contracting, the self-perform arm of Gray, seeks a Senior Scheduler to lead integrated master schedules for complex industrial projects in Franklin, TN. This role requires 50% travel and oversight across divisions, coordinating with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of scheduling experience, mastery of Primavera P6 and MS Project, and strong communication and organization skills to drive on-time delivery and value for clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business or related discipline.
• 7+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Experience leading scheduling on large or multiple projects.
• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling activities across all divisions and active projects, building out the scheduling department for NexGen Contracting.
• Develop, manage, and maintain integrated master project schedules aligning engineering, procurement, fabrication, delivery, commissioning, and construction.
• Lead schedule development during planning and execution with stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Facilitate schedule reviews with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accuracy and identify impacts.
• Provide schedule guidance on strategy, recovery planning, risk mitigation, and performance improvement.
