Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager for field construction management in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist the Construction Project Manager and EPC Project Manager across safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and client interface on diverse projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering and several years of experience; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in construction management or engineering.
• Experience with project management, scheduling, cost control and document control is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
• Support development and execution of project plans, QA plans, and procurement plans.
• Support bid/proposal activities, RFP creation, and subcontractor selection.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier invoicing and change management.
• Prepare project status updates, risk reports, and meeting minutes for stakeholders.
• Assist with project turnover, recordkeeping, and closeout processes.
• Verify insurance, licenses, taxes/duties, and securities meet requirements.
