Job summary

GLY Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Washington, DC to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will balance technical excellence, cost control, and team leadership while building long‑term client and partner relationships.

You’ll apply knowledge of GMP, Lump Sum, GC/CM, and Design/Build, mentor staff, and drive effective planning, budgeting, and schedule management. The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in commercial construction and a bachelor’s degree,

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ project management experience in commercial construction.
• Minimum 10 years total industry experience.
• Proven track record of winning work as the key selling resource.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to navigate challenging situations for positive outcomes.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with others; adaptable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, shaping strategy, budgets, and schedules.
• Administer contract types (GMP, Lump Sum, GC/CM, Design/Build) and manage cash flow and reporting.
• Train, mentor, and supervise project team members; maintain client relationships.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and external partnerships to meet objectives.
• Support marketing and business development through successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
