Qualifications

• 12 years of progressive construction or infrastructure project management experience.
• Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar underground utility, wet utility, civil infrastructure, or similarly complex construction projects.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple projects, large multidisciplinary teams, and other project management professionals.
• Strong expertise in construction contracts, project scheduling, cost control, financial forecasting, and risk management.
• Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Valid California driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple large-scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with budgets, schedules, contract requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Develop project budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and cost-control strategies while identifying financial risks and protecting profitability.
• Lead client relationships, negotiations, contract administration, change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with superintendents and field teams to maintain jobsite productivity, safety standards, quality, and timely execution.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, scope alignment, material procurement, and long-lead equipment planning.
• Monitor RFIs, submittals, schedules, project financials, and performance metrics while providing executive-level updates.
• Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other team members to strengthen leadership capabilities and project execution.
• Partner with estimating teams on bids, project handoffs, and preconstruction planning while supporting client retention and business growth.
• Lead project closeout, final financial reconciliation, warranty coordination, and implementation of standardized project management practices.
