Job summary

Confidential, a growing construction company, seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations, drive profitability, and shape long-term strategy across multiple concurrent construction projects.

The role requires deep construction accounting knowledge, experience with WIP, retainage, and percentage-of-completion revenue, plus ERP proficiency in Vista and Procore. CPA/CMA/MBA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CFO, Controller, or senior finance leader in construction.
• Knowledge of construction accounting: WIP, retainage, percent-of-completion revenue.
• Experience with Vista by Trimble and Procore ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for construction-focused projects.
• Oversee project financial performance with cost tracking, margin analysis, and timely reporting for concurrent builds.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term growth strategies and capital planning.
• Implement and refine financial systems and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Manage relationships with banks, bonding companies, auditors, and key stakeholders.
• Provide clear, actionable insights to project managers and department heads to support operational excellence.
