Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial direction in a growing construction firm. This permanent role will oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, risk management and policy implementation.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial strategy, planning, and leadership skills, with experience guiding accounting teams and strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; MBA preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior financial managerial role, ideally in construction.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting practices and budgets; prepare financial reports and audits.
• Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts with leadership.
• Study long-range trends to project growth in sales and market share.
• Develop and implement financial policies and ensure compliance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, WIP, change orders and job costing.
• Oversee AIA billing processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide strategic input on decisions like mergers or investments.
• Optimize banking relationships and cash position strategies.
• Monitor financial performance and drive corrective actions.
