Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Business Development Manager to own the market relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms, driving the pipeline and proposals to signed testing and inspection work.

You work with a seller-doer engineer pricing and sealing; your focus is relationships, the pipeline, and the close. Base salary plus commission on collected revenue with no cap; travel locally and to Sugar Land as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
• Existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the posting market.
• Disciplined, forecastable pipeline management.
• Comfortable discussing specs and terms with superintendents and owners.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.
• Own relationships end to end; track permits, bid boards, and project announcements.
• Coordinate proposals with the engineering team: scope, pricing, qualifications, follow-up.
• Represent the company at industry associations and client events; report pipeline monthly.
