ARCO / Murray Construction Company in Tampa, FL is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new business across the United States. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with developers and owners, and lead the sales process from prospecting to proposal.

Candidates should have a proven track record selling design/build services in the construction industry, strong business acumen, and a Bachelor's Degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Proven sales track record in construction, preferably design/build.
• Strong business acumen and ability to build trust with clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish positive top of mind awareness.
• Research and analyze key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets or geographies.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay informed and network with clients and prospects.
• Provide progress updates on BD activities and key metrics to management.
• Lead and manage the sales plan execution with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate the sales/proposal process with marketing, estimators, PMs, and senior management.
• Travel to prospective clients and markets as needed.
• Establish profitable relationships with decision-makers at companies and organizations.
