Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to own a market of general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms. You will manage relationships, grow the pipeline, and close deals, with a seller-doer engineer pricing and sealing the technical side.

In this role, you will hunt for opportunities, coordinate proposals with engineering, track permits and bid boards, and report pipeline results monthly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Build a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms and own relationships end to end.
• Track permits, bid boards and project announcements to find work before award.
• Coordinate proposals with the engineering team: scope, pricing, qualifications, and follow-up.
• Represent the company at industry associations, pre-bid meetings, and client events; report pipeline and results monthly.
