Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is seeking a Conference Services Manager to lead event and group servicing, coordinating food and beverage, AV, room assignments, transportation, and guest needs for corporate and social events.

You will work with Sales & Operations to ensure seamless banquet execution, client satisfaction, compliance with Gaming Commission regulations, and upsell opportunities while overseeing site inspections and post-event billing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years event management, food industry or hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Delphi FDC preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel preferred.
• Knowledge of Social Tables preferred.
• Exposure to alcohol and smoking environment; must be able to work in such environment.
• Must be able to secure and maintain licensure per Louisiana Gaming Control Board or applicable regulatory entity.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana policies.
• Deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions.
• Ensure all functions have secured sufficient payment per SOP.
• Send all after event receipts and final billing to clients.
• Serve as sole contact for assigned definite groups.
• Call for final headcounts and upsell opportunities.
• Upsell food & beverage, audio-visual, and hotel services.
• Monitor group room blocks and generate detailed resumes for operations.
• Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations as needed.
• Participate in re-booking of repeat business.
• Prepare resumes for groups prior to arrival and review all details in BEO Meeting.
• Provide innovative setups, menus, and functions with Chef pricing input.
• Work with banquet department on operations and execution; evaluate alternatives.
• Oversee overall direction and execution of banquet orders.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure client satisfaction for all events/groups.
• Remain available to hotel managers while on property.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
