Job summary

TexasBank seeks a Chief Compliance Officer to lead all regulatory and compliance functions, establishing a practical risk-based framework and partnering with lines of business to balance risk and customer focus. The role requires leadership in policy, training, and governance to support strategic objectives while maintaining robust regulatory compliance.

You will report to the Board, oversee policy updates, training programs, and cross-department coordination with risk, lending, and operations

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a compliance role within banking or regulatory environments.
• CRCM certification or eligibility to obtain within six months.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage production and servicing regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer literacy and ability to analyze regulatory data.

Responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve a risk-based compliance framework for the bank.
• Lead policy development, training, and governance programs.
• Provide clear, timely guidance to senior leadership and business partners.
• Report to the Board of Directors on compliance issues and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with risk, operations, lending, servicing, and other functions to ensure aligned, practical compliance.
