Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Competitive Intelligence to conduct research and analysis supporting corporate strategy initiatives. The role involves presenting findings to all levels of management and coordinating with Sales & Marketing to inform strategic decisions.

Remote role open to candidates nationwide, requiring ET business hours. Minimum qualifications include a BA, with MBA preferred, and several years of strategy/consulting experience; expect leadership and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics.
• Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely
• Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant source of primary and secondary research, including industry analysts, market research firms, conferences, and others
