Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Competitive Intelligence to conduct research and analysis of corporate strategy initiatives and to present findings to all levels of management. This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.

who can commit to Eastern Time business hours. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and excellent written and verbal communication to support strategy and market intelligence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, or economics required.
• MBA, accounting, finance, or economics preferred.
• Two (2) years or more of management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required.
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends.
• Communicates with stakeholders across the company to ensure intelligence is actionable and timely.
• Develops and maintains detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated topics.
• Supports intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation.
• Continuously identifies and maintains a database of relevant sources of primary and secondary research.
