Job summary

E. & J. Gallo Winery is seeking a Compensation professional to help attract, motivate, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce through competitive and equitable compensation programs.

You will analyze compensation data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights, partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to ensure offers are competitive and internally equitable. This role blends analytics with strategic advisory work across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Compensation/Total Rewards experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Detail driven individual with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with ability to see the broader picture and summarize complex data.
• Knows and applies a broad working knowledge of compensation principles, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze compensation data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights supporting informed business decisions.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure offers are competitive, aligned to market conditions and internally equitable.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Organizational Development, and Employee Relations to support organizational changes and job architecture initiatives.
• Contribute to annual compensation planning, promotion cycles, equity reviews, and regulatory compliance efforts, leveraging AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency.
