Job summary

E. & J. Gallo Winery is seeking a Compensation Analyst to shape our rewards strategy. You will leverage data, analytics, and market insights to guide compensation decisions and support HR partners across the organization.

You will perform research on job evaluation, market pricing, and incentive programs, collaborating with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to ensure competitive, compliant compensation practices. This role offers meaningful projects and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of HR, Compensation, or Total Rewards experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or equivalency with 6 years of HR, Compensation or Total Rewards experience.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Detail driven with emphasis on accuracy and ability to summarize complex data.
• Responsible for highly sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks while delivering high-quality results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and database; basic MS PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel up to 5% for onboarding, training, meetings and events.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Research and analysis related to job evaluation, market pricing, salary structures, incentive programs, internal equity, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to evaluate compensation recommendations.
• Support career pathing initiatives and ensure compensation practices are compliant and competitive.
• Contribute to annual compensation processes, survey participation, compensation audits, reporting and process improvements.
• Influence compensation programs and support innovative solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience.
