UTMB Health seeks a Compensation Analyst to provide specialized guidance and support for compensation operations within the HR team. You will communicate compensation services, initiatives, and programs to HR consultants and customers, and participate in daily compensation activities including policy development and administration.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3 years of compensation/HR experience, with preferred healthcare or executive compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; 3 years in Compensation or HR experience.
• Healthcare and/or executive compensation experience preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft 9.1 Core HR, Query, and ePerformance is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates jobs using Point Factor and Market Pricing methodology.
• Analyzes job descriptions for FLSA exemption status and internal equity.
• Reviews salary ranges and maintains evaluation records.
• Prepares cost analyses for pay adjustments or programs.
• Administers merit and short-term incentive programs.
• Advises department consultants on compensation initiatives.
• Participates in annual pay practices reviews and market data analysis.
• Supports and maintains Comp Analyst market pricing tool.
• Assists in development and implementation of compensation programs.
• Coordinates special projects and addresses compensation issues.
